Neighborhood Crime Prevention. Get neighborhood together and talk about Crime Prevention. Talk about what you can do for each other. Keep an eye on neighbors house when they are gone. If a neighbor will be going on vacation, suggest they cancel mail and paper delivery, which can be kept at post office until they return.
When gathering as a neighborhood group, you get to know your neighbors and soon becomes automatic to take care of each other.
Invite police officer to come to meeting at the home that neighbors will meet. Officer can give you tips about the Neighborhood Watch Programs. That way everyone will be on the same wave length. Everyone becomes more aware of things going on around them. Exchange phone numbers. Officer will give details on what to do.

The Art Of Approaching Women
My local County and City governments work with people who want to form Neighborhood Watch groups. My Neighborhood watch groups sponsors monthly Saturday morning meetings at a park, everyone who lives in the area is invited. We take turns bring refreshments, invite public officials, community policing unit members, and other people who can give information about safey or any topic we are interested in. We also have an e-mail and phone tree to report when there has been any crime in our area.
We have also planted trees along are parkways (trees were donated); revamped the garden beds at our park, and done letter writing campaigns when there have been problems.
We also socialize periodically.
Speak with your neighbors and see if they’d be interested in starting such a group. It does take a little work; but we have found that it is not too time consuming or intrusive and well worth the effort. We do not have a home owners association, we are far more relaxed than that and have very few ‘rules’. Check with your local government to see what assistence might be available to help you organize.

The Magic of Making Up
Well depending on where you live and thee weather I always love a good street party. I think that is the best way to go everyone will gather for food and drink. We always did these on my street especially for the 4th of July. So I hope this helps have a good one.
